AMINAL SET products are sets for preparation of concentrated acidic solutions for bicarbonate haemodialysis. Each concentrate consists of:
- Liquid part: aqueous solution containing purified water, potassium chloride (KCl), calcium chloride dihydrate (CaCl2 x 2H2O), magnesium chloride hexahydrate (MgCl2 x 6H2O) and acetic acid (CH3COOH).
- Solid part:
sodium chloride (NaCl)
glucose (C6H12O6 x H2O) - optional.
One set is used for self-preparation of 100 l acidic concentrated solution for bicarbonate haemodialysis in haemodialysis centers with appropriate mixing systems.
Prepared acidic concentrated solution is used in combination with alkaline solution of 8.4% NaHCO3 and water of suitable quality.
